Galaxywar Players Have Moved to Xnuva

On 08. Sep 2026, 12:54:53 by ciberia
The highly trained and slightly overworked Xnuva Space Mice have been busy again.

After much squeaking, cable chewing and the strategic deployment of emergency cheese supplies, the Galaxywar.org player database has now been migrated to Xnuva.com.

If you were playing on Galaxywar, your existing empire has been brought across with you. The Space Mice have worked to preserve your planets and moons, resources, buildings, research, ships, defences, Dark Matter, alliance membership, bank balances and other supported game progress.

Where possible, your existing planetary coordinates have also remained exactly where you left them.

What should Galaxywar players do?

Head over to Xnuva.com and try logging in using your existing Galaxywar username and password.

Please do not create a replacement account if you have trouble logging in. Your migrated empire may already be sitting there waiting for you, and we would much rather help restore access than have two versions of you confusing the mice.

Why the move?

Maintaining separate versions of the game was becoming a lot even for rodents with an apparently unlimited work ethic.

Moving Galaxywar players into Xnuva means we can concentrate development, maintenance and future improvements on one active universe and one growing community.

Most importantly, this is not a restart. Galaxywar players have not simply been handed fresh accounts and told to begin again. Their existing game data has been migrated so they can continue with the empires they already built.

Welcome aboard

To everyone joining us from Galaxywar: welcome to Xnuva.

Have a look around, settle into your new home, and please be gentle with the machinery.

The Space Mice have only just finished putting it back together.

Your empire continues at Xnuva.com.

The Space Mice Have Been Busy

On 29. Aug 2026, 19:20:42 by XNUVA Development Team
The Space Mice have been extremely busy behind the scenes. Major repairs and modernisation have been completed across fleets, Galaxy views, alliances, the player dashboard and core game systems.

There is still more testing to do, but returning commanders should expect XNUVA to look - and behave - rather differently.

The universe is waking up again.

Please do not feed the Space Mice. They have already eaten enough broken code.

The Space Mice Have Moved the Universe!

A major update from the Space Mice!

After an unreasonable amount of squeaking, cable chewing, database shuffling and arguing over who left the cheese next to the server fans, the Space Mice have completed one of their biggest jobs yet.

XnovaRevolution has officially moved to Xnuva.

The old XnovaRevolution community has been migrated to its new home here at Xnuva. Existing player accounts and game data have been carried across, so returning XnovaRevolution players should continue using their existing login details.

The old xnovarevolution.com website has now been retired and automatically redirects here to Xnuva.

Behind the scenes, the mice have also been doing considerably more than changing the sign above the door. Xnuva represents the continuing redevelopment of the old project, including substantial work on the game architecture and, most recently, the fleet system.

The rebuilt fleet system has now successfully completed testing across all of the major fleet missions. The mice are particularly pleased about this because fleet code has consumed an alarming quantity of cheese, coffee and sanity.

Xnuva is now the Home of the new XnovaRevolution.

There will still be development work, testing and probably the occasional escaped bug running around the server room. If you notice something that does not look right following the migration, please let us know.

For players returning after some time away: you have not arrived at the wrong website. Xnuva is now the continuation of XnovaRevolution.

Thank you to everyone who has played, tested and supported XnovaRevolution over the years.

The universe survived the move.

The databases survived the move.

The Space Mice survived the move.

Mostly.
